We are looking for an ambitious Quality Assurance Engineer on a project for our international client.

The client is an integrated payment product and technology provider, mainly focused on Automotive OEMs and Mobility services. The focus of the project is on delivering an end-to-end integrated payment platform that covers the entire payment flow. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work on the improvement of the test management portfolio by planning, testing, and reporting to advance the quality of a delivering process for the main payment software.

What you’ll be doing:

• Create and structure end-to-end test cases and align them with involved business teams
• Perform manual testing throughout the respective test stages reflecting the end-to-end online payment journey.
• Support international and cross-functional teams with reporting, troubleshooting, and resolving complex software related systems bugs.
• Identify testing dependencies and blockers and keep stakeholders updated on the progress.
• Improve the testing cases, processes, and implementations with your suggestions in our regular debriefing meetings.

What we are looking for in a Quality Assurance Engineer is:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Two or more years of work experience in the field of software testing
• Great interest in complex software solutions and the ability to identify improvements, dependencies, and risks
• Profound experience in performing and setting up manual test - certification as an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level is a plus
• Good understanding of REST APIs and familiarity with any API testing tool such as Postman
• Strong experience with technology principles, including HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, Swagger, SDKs (Web and Mobile), authentication, programming languages and version control.
• Working knowledge of using Microsoft 365, Atlassian’s JIRA, and Confluence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

It would be cool if you also have, but it’s not necessary:

• Experience developing with backend languages like Ruby, Go, Python, PHP, Node, Java or C#
• Experience and technical knowledge of mobile development iOS or Android
• Experience in the payments industry
• Experience in digital/mobile payments
