We are looking for an organized, motivated, and technically oriented Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in connecting our technical capabilities with customer needs and business objectives. You will work on a variety of projects, from application features and integrations to analytics and data solutions, ensuring that requirements are clear, feasible, and well understood across all teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how systems work end-to-end, translating complex technical topics into actionable business insights, and collaborating closely with developers, QA, data teams, architects, and customers. What you'll do:

• Gather, clarify, document and analyze business and technical requirements, and work with the team to shape effective, feasible solutions
• Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA engineers, data engineers/analysts, architects, project managers) to ensure shared understanding and alignment with business needs.
• Translate technical concepts for business stakeholders, and clearly communicate business needs to technical teams
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs, build strong relationships, optimize existing solutions, and contribute to new ones
• Participate in designing, documenting, and maintaining system processes, data flows, and solution designs
• Create and refine backlog items (features, user stories), facilitate grooming sessions, and ensure the team has a shared understanding of scope
• Contribute across a variety of solution types, including data pipelines, APIs, application features, and system integrations
• Identify and investigate data issues (schema mismatches, granularity, completeness, update frequency) to ensure data quality and reliable insights
• Validate design decisions with architects and engineers to ensure consistency, scalability, and adherence to best practices
• Support project managers by helping track deliverables, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Discover and communicate issues early, propose improvements, and collaborate with customers and internal teams on solution options
• Participate in solution validation before deployment to ensure requirements and quality expectations are met
• Communicate key insights and findings to internal stakeholders such as sales, delivery, and management teams

What we expect:

• Strong ability to create clear documentation, diagrams, and visual representations of processes and systems
• General understanding of software architecture and how modern applications function (databases, APIs, integrations, UI, cloud components)
• Understanding of REST API and experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.
• Basic SQL skills (queries, data relations and models) and ability to interpret data to support business decisions
• Ability to explore systems and data in depth, interpret logs or API payloads, and identify where issues may reside
• Strong experience with whole SDLC and Agile methodologies, including writing/refining backlog items and facilitating grooming sessions
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead collaborative workshops with customers and internal teams
• Experience working with collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Miro, MS Teams
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear and feasible
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in similar roles within software development environments.
• Professional proficiency in English and Croatian (both written and spoken)
• Degree in IT/Computer Science, Business or a related field
