Your challenge


GDi COMS (Cloud Operations, Support and Maintenance) department is at the core of company relations to its continued long-term mission critical customers. Communication, responsiveness, reliability and deep interest in customer success are the main values of the department.


We are looking for a Systems and Cloud Management Engineer who is ready to learn about the architecture of the GDi Products and client-specific applications we support, and about the working knowledge of the underlying platform (cloud and on premise). Our opening provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to get into the cloud computing space and to participate on one of our many innovative projects at high-profile clients in highly competitive industries throughout the world.


As part of our team you will be working on:


  • Client system operations monitoring, constant optimization and performance issues resolution
  • System add-ons and upgrade deployment planning, testing for supportability, documentation
  • Installation and troubleshooting of complex IT solutions deployed on enterprise environment (GDi Cloud and on premise)
  • Internal (dev/test) operational support and system maintenance (Microsoft Azure, AWS and GDI Data center)
  • Testing support, UAT support
  • Supporting pre-sales process where needed
  • Cooperating with GDi Products and GDi Professional Services department in implementation, integration, support and quality assurance of GDi Products
  • Using IP based communication and web conferencing technologies (Microsoft Teams, Skype, Slack, Amazon Chime,...)
  • Periodically working during non-standard working time (24/7)



About you:


  • At least 4 years of proven experience in IT support, System Integration (Technical position), configuration and provisioning of software and/or hardware equipment
  • Knowledge of systems and network administration (AD, TCP/IP, DNS, IIS, LB…)
  • Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, Hyper V), Cloud concepts and technologies (Azure, AWS) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of databases (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres) is an advantage
  • Strong application analysis and issue resolution (troubleshooting) skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to work effectively and provide feedback to customers, senior level managers and vendors
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certificate is an advantage
  • Experience gained by working in large and global enterprises and teams (especially TELCO area) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English language, fluent oral and written communication with clients worldwide (telecom companies, system integrators, e-government)
  • DevOps competences are plus
  • Professional attitude and relationship with internal and external clients and colleagues
  • Initiative and collaboration skills to achieve business goals
