Role Overview

We are seeking for a Databricks Engineer to join our data engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals eager to gain experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and collaborating with analytics and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, monitor, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark

• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to design scalable data workflows

• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources

• Assist in performance tuning of Spark jobs and Delta Lake tables

• Contribute to data quality checks and documentation

• Participate in code reviews and learn industry best practices for version control, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure

Minimalne kvalifikacije

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java preferred)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Understanding of data concepts such as data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT, and distributed computing

• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies

Bonus kvalifikacije

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, or similar big data tools

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker/Kubernetes

• Understanding of data modeling and performance optimization techniques

• Hands-on academic or personal project experience with data analytics or data pipelines
