We need an expert Node.js engineer to join us on a large-scale e-mobility project for a Fortune-500 global energy provider.

Our interdisciplinary team has an open spot for an experienced and self-motivated Node.js expert. In addition, our client is a global energy provider from the Fortune-500 list, making it your direct ticket for participation in a major project for a fast-growing international organization in a disruptive market.

The project is related to EV charging and e-mobility. If you’re passionate about clean energy or just solving complex real-world issues using technology, this is the opportunity to act on. You’ll be working in a cross-functional team consisting of engineers, a product owner, QA specialists, and designers from all over the world. Putting your learner mindset on, you will be able to take the initiative and collaborate effectively with your teammates to find the best solutions and translate requirements from business stakeholders into functional specifications and designs.

Your responsibilities

• designing, building and maintaining services in Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS (Lambda, EKS, Cognito, Dynamo, and Kinesis, among others)
• writing clean, maintainable code that’s properly tested
• making architecture and design decisions together with the team
• identifying and debugging interesting issues and providing solutions by thinking outside the box
• help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
• using agile methodologies in development (Kanban)

Tools we use

ESLint + Prettier

Working with other people is so much easier with a mature style guide. We use ESLint in combination with Prettier to help us enforce a consistent code style.

GitHub Actions

Since FTPing into the server is not popular today, we use GitHub Actions for running our tests and deploying to servers.

TypeScript

When bundled with React, it makes our life so much easier, even when dealing with TypeScript nonsense.

Postman

It’s not all about the UI. We use Postman to test our APIs and even monitor their health in production.

Docker

We rely on Docker in various ways, from simplifying the setup of a local development environment to packaging and running our applications as containers.

Slack

We use Slack for work and fun. It’s our go-to tool for maintaining sanity both in the office and remotely.

GitHub

All of our work is on GitHub. Everything goes through pull requests and code reviews with your future team members.
