About you

The Senior Software Engineer Control Systems (CS) is responsible for the development and the implementation of control systems software for CS customer projects: programming of PLC, creating HMI software, implementing change requests. The Senior Software Engineer CS is also responsible for the commissioning at the customer’s site.

Minimalne kvalifikacije

Professional requirements

• Technical training (higher technical college, university of applied sciences, university of technology),
• preferably in the fields of electrical engineering, automation, electronics
• Profound software development skills (TIA Portal (STEP7), SCL, STL, FBD, WinCC, C#, C/C++)
• Language skills (English, German)
• Microsoft Office skills
• AutoCAD skills
• Several years of professional experience in intralogistics

Management tasks

• Assisting the Team Leader Software Implementation CS

Technical responsibility

• Development and implementation of software according to defined standards
• Commissioning of software programs at the customer’s
• Assisting the Project Manager (CS) with technical aspects
• Development of project-specific special solutions
• Mentoring (Junior) Software Engineer CS

Operative tasks

• Creation of system specifications
• Work preparation
• Software development
• Documentation (manual, configuration)
• Commissioning, incl. complex components (transfer cars, elevators, etc.)
• Customer training
• Application of the validation tool
• Creating and evaluating F-program
• In-house tests
• Emulation tests
• Support and hyper care
• On-call duty
• Providing assistance for support

• Jungheinrich WMS unit (Warehouse Management System)
• Jungheinrich Control Systems unit (central)
• Providers of third-party components
• Installation part – electrical installations
