Job Profile Summary

Responsible for the analyzing of system performance to ensure optimal processing efficiency. Works closely with IT Technical and Application Support teams in identifying and resolving processing issues. Develops and administers multiple software packages involved in the analyzing of system and batch performance. Performs problem determination, analysis and executes corrective action. Creates and maintains various analytical reports utilized by both technical and business owners. Supports all Business Continuity activities. Provides operational support for all conversion/deconversion activities. Communicates with both internal/external clients.


Job Description

Provides monitoring and 1st Level Support for Business Critical Services ensuring that Service Standards are maintained and quality service provided. Performs and supports operational processes across multiple environments ensuring all tasks are managed and conducted to the highest possible standards; this includes but is not limited to producing supporting documentation. Ensures that all activities are performed and supported in accordance with Corporate Governance and agreed processes and procedures.


What Part Will You Play?

  • Respond to routine issues and see through resolution. Escalating to senior management when appropriate.
  • Undertake routine batch processing across specified systems in accordance with defined processes. Including loading client originated files and direct client communication.
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of routine client service level agreements & Non service level agreement transmissions from Global Payments, following batch processing across all platforms for Production and Verification schedules using Connect Direct, Network Data Mover and other transmission tools.
  • Maintain continuous line of communications, keeping internal partners informed of all critical issues.
  • Undertake continuous service reviews, and generate ideas for improvements.


Minimalne kvalifikacije

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in shifts
  • High School Diploma or Relevant Experience or Degree in: Information Technology or Business related study; relevant experience in lieu of education
  • Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp
  • Distributed or mainframe operations background
  • Information Technology Field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IT or Business related study
  • 4 Years Relevant Exp
  • Operations experience with CA, BMC or IBM suite of products
  • Experience in Bankcard Industry
