Where Your IT Journey Begins: The Service Desk Operator Role

As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining seamless IT operations. Our Service Desk team is the backbone of our IT support operations, addressing a variety of issues with a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and great communication. Here’s a closer look at what you’ll do:


Monitoring IT Infrastructure

  • Use tools like SCOM and other monitoring systems to ensure the smooth functioning of customer environments.
  • Stay proactive by identifying potential issues before they escalate into major problems.


Ticket Management

  • Leverage our in-house ticketing system, seamlessly integrated with customer systems, to manage incidents and service requests.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting, relying on a robust knowledge base and predefined access rights.
  • Resolve tickets independently where possible or escalate complex issues to our advanced support teams.


Common Areas of Support

  • Work extensively with M365 technologies, often troubleshooting email-related issues.
  • Address Identity Management challenges, ensuring secure and efficient user access.


Shifts and Flexibility

  • Operate in a 24/7 schedule with a 6+2 shift rotation, offering flexibility and the perk of avoiding rush-hour commutes.

From Service Desk Operator, you can progress into roles like:

  • System Administrator, where you’ll tackle escalations, maintain IT systems, and ensure everything runs smoothly for our customers. This role brings more responsibility and exposure to complex technical challenges while still working closely with a supportive, collaborative team.
  • System Engineer, focused on optimizing and improving existing IT systems while providing ongoing support to keep everything running seamlessly. Balancing day-to-day operations with project work, you’ll collaborate closely with customers and teammates, growing your skills and impact along the way.
  • Senior System Engineer, the go-to expert for solving advanced issues, mentoring teammates, and leading critical projects.
