Your challenge

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Team Lead who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Quality Assurance team as well as participating as an active member of the product teams.


Job description:

  • Manage QA Processes: Oversee QA processes, methodologies, and test strategy improvements, encompassing resource planning and hiring.
  • Coordinate Testing Activities: Act as the primary contact for testing activities in GDi's software development, handling planning, coordination, and execution. Define test and release strategies, schedules, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance Team, overseeing resource allocation, usability, and knowledge transfer. Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring seamless communication and efficient task delegation. Implement effective strategies for team growth, skill enhancement, and professional development.
  • Ensure Test Execution: Create comprehensive test plans, oversee test case creation and execution, and generate detailed test reports for different testing phases.
  • Deployment Decision Making: Provide insights through test reports, advising on go or no-go deployment actions for major releases. Review project documentation and test cases to uphold quality standards.


About you:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technology sciences
  • At least 4 years of proven experience in Quality Control role (or similar)
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to work effectively and provide feedback to customers, senior level managers and vendors
  • Very good technical understanding of Software development processes
  • Proficiency in English language, fluent oral and written communication with clients worldwide (telecom companies, system integrators, e-government)
  • Initiative and collaboration skills to achieve business goals
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Able to multi-task efficiently under time pressure
