In the last couple of years, our development teams and projects have grown substantially, and the architecture of the projects has become more complex. Therefore, we are hiring a DevOps professional to improve development processes for all the projects depending on the codebase and to introduce automatic deployment on all the projects, especially for the smaller ones. This is just the beginning - we have big plans for this Engineer and his/her new team.

Minimalne kvalifikacije

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar relevant field.
• Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer or a Software Developer willing to make a switch.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with Linux, Shell Scripting, and Python
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Docker, Containers, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with document and relational databases (Aurora/MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with networking including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers, and IP routing.
• Familiarity with writing .yaml files (Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Love of learning and teamwork.
• Very good written and spoken English.

What you'll do:

• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure, and maintain current infrastructure across multiple environments and platforms (AWS and GCP).
• Identify manual processes and then design and implement automation solutions.
• Guide Development teams through the design and implementation of microservice architectures and ensure that the teams follow established processes.
• Make sure that the cloud guardrails are maintained and enforced.
• Set up new alarms and monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs of different microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify technical problems and develop software updates and fixes.
• Recommend performance enhancements by identifying alternative solutions.
• Write technical documentation.
